ADR is almost finished

Howdy

Well the ADR on Sacrifice will officially be finished on Thursday with Jamie coming in to make the final touches. I hope everything turns out good, I really would like if I had more time to spend on the sound design as I thinmk it is really important Next up will be DVD authoring. As of yet I have no idea about what is happening with my colour correction I may have to take it upon myself to finish that off.

In other news I am now in my second week on the film 'beautiful' it is fantastic best professional project I have worked on so far. Richard has been showing me some great stuff,, actually taking the time to teach me all about lighting and what to do do to achieve some great effects. Of course the technical stuff is quite hard to take on board all at once but things are slowly becoming clearer, and more understandable.

Also I am Lighting guy on an 'I can see Queerly now' film that Maxx is shooting this weekend. Should be a whole lot of fun.

Hey another blog guys, have to keep this bad boy running.

Well all picture edits are almost done with Gimmie Shelter, and Back to the dead already in post production, he he! Phil sure is busy.

All films are going good, as for Sacrifice (ex 90 mile), I am becoming much happier with how the edit is coming along, more polished and clear narrative wise. A young dude from Salisbury TAFE has already sent me through some samples of some stuff, it sounds really good although I need to listen to it a few more times before I can give any extra advice.

This thursday we are all going to be showing our films to the rest of the class, and giving feedback, hopefully this is insightful and I will get some honest feedback which will allow me to improve the film. I have high hopes at the moment. Still organising ADR (Additional Dialogue Replacement) with the actors.

Working on a feature film at the moment called: "The Resident Magician". it is being shot in a breakneck 3 weeks. I am best boy on it, assisting Storm Ashwood. Next week I start on "Beautiful" which I am in fact getting paid for, it's gonna be really great I may actually have some money in my bank account which would be great. Unfortunately that means I will not be at school to supervise the ADR, Jen however has stepped up to the bat and offered to help with that whilst I am absent.....Thanks Jen.
